Upon receiving and confirming an thermoforming tool order, our team begins a meticulous manufacturing process designed to ensure the highest quality and precision.

Design Phase

We initiate the process by engaging with the customer to clarify all technical details, ensuring that we fully understand their requirements and specifications for the thermoforming tools. This step is crucial for aligning our production with the customer's expectations.

Our engineers create initial prototypes based on the clarified specifications. These prototypes serve as preliminary models to verify that the products produced by our thermoforming tools meet the customer's requirements. This step allows us to ensure alignment with the client's needs and make any necessary adjustments before production.

In the design stage, we create thermoforming tool drawings based on the customer's specific needs and the type of machinery used. We plan the appropriate materials to match the expected thermoforming tool lifespan, specifying all necessary dimensions, tolerances, and materials. These detailed and precise drawings serve as the blueprint for our manufacturing and assembly processes.

After the thermoforming tool design is completed, we present the assembly and product drawings to the customer for review and approval, if necessary. This crucial confirmation step serves as a key reference before production begins, ensuring that the final product aligns with the customer's expectations and requirements.

Manufacture Phase

Utilizing advanced CNC machines, we begin the machining process by transforming raw materials into accurately shaped components. Our high-precision machining ensures that each part meets the specified dimensions and tolerances.

To enhance the mechanical properties of the components, they undergo a rigorous heat treatment process. This step is essential for improving hardness, strength, and durability. Leveraging YI JHIH's extensive manufacturing experience, we tailor the heat treatment conditions for different materials to control dimensional changes over time and ensure long-term stability of the molds.

YI JHIH’s skilled technicians perform surface and cylinder grinding to achieve a fine finish and maintain precise tolerances. This process is critical for ensuring the smooth operation and longevity of the parts.

For complex shapes and intricate designs, we employ wire EDM technology. This method allows us to cut with high precision, maintaining the integrity of the material and ensuring exact specifications.

Specialized jig grinding is used to achieve high-precision tolerances, especially for holes and other features requiring exceptional accuracy. This step is vital for the proper assembly and function of the final product.

A comprehensive quality check is conducted on all components. Our quality assurance team rigorously inspects each part, verifying dimensions, tolerances, and overall quality to ensure they meet our high standards.

After passing the quality check, the components are meticulously assembled into the final tools. Our assembly process is performed with utmost care, following the exact specifications outlined in the design.

The assembled thermoforming tools undergo thorough testing to verify their functionality, performance, and durability. This final step ensures that every product leaving our facility is of the highest quality and ready to meet the demands of our customers.
